Ok, so do I even need to put words in this post or are you all already dead on the floor? I, of course, am posting from the afterlife having been dead for months now. This adorable, scrumptious, sweet-as-pie baby is my niece, Willa, and she is modeling the dress I made for her yesterday. Could you just eat her up? You should see the real thing...
I haven't used a pattern in years so it was a serious challenge. I must thank Amy Karol for the awesome bias-tape tutorial. She made it so easy (once again I managed to surpress the desire to write sew easy, aren't you proud of me?) This pattern (McCall's M5083) includes bloomers but Willa isn't wearing them in the photos. Which is lucky for you if you are still alive at this point because you surely would not survive the sight of eyelet lace around those thighs...
OMG! Those thighs are edible! And those cheeks!! Scrumptious!!
Oh, and the dress is cute too!!

Love the man's half-hidden grimace in the second photo as those thunder thigs are pressing down into his nether regions. I am guessing I am the first male commenter since I am the first to notice that the man is in obvious pain.

I visited because I met Willa's mama at the BlogHer conference. She is so cute, but really, you did a fantastic job on the dress!
